The club meets at 7:00pm on the first & third Mondays of each month from September through to April
The meetings are held in the Art Room, Miller Academy, Thurso

1 or 2 photographer’s tabards have been allocated to members. These will allow access to the central part of the stadium, providing good photo opportunities. If those interested contact me I will sort out a rota for their use.

Out west (Melvich, Kirtomy. Strathy)

Meet at the Thurso riverside car park in front of Riverside Replicas at 6.30pm to arrange sharing of cars.  The intention is to travel to the car park near the Strathy Lighthouse for 7.15pm.

Directions - travel through Reay and Melvich and turn right at the Strathy Inn.  Travel towards the sea until you reach the car park beside the closed gates.  We can then walk along the cliffs to the lighthouse or walk along the road (10 min walk).

Loch Fleet with Dingwall CC

Names to the Chairman please

Meeting place: Loch Fleet car park ( on right at northern end of road across the Fleet at the Mound - just south of the turning to Rogart and Lairg)

Time 10.30 (18th May)

Intention: to go to Big Burn and to Bluebells around Dunrobin (some might want to go to the Fleet for bird photography).

Lybster

Meet at the Thurso riverside carpark in front of Riverside Replicas for 6.30pm (to arrange car sharing).  We will then travel to Lybster Harbour for 7.15pm.

Forss

Meet at Crosskirk, Forss at 7pm.  The road to Crosskirk is signposted just east of the Forss House Hotel.  Head towards the sea and park on the grass turning area when you can go no further.

Trip to Golspie

Trip to Golspie and surrounding area, including Dunrobin Castle.  Meet at the Thurso Riverside car park in front of Riverside Replicas at 9am to arrange sharing of cars.  Then travel to Dunrobin Castle to meet in the castle carpark at 10.30am.  Travel back in mid to late afternoon.
